January 2010 SAT Results Thread

2340! 800 CR, 770 M, 80/8 W => 770.

This basically agrees with how I felt - I can’t believe the only question I missed was a MATH question, of all things (changed in the last thirty seconds because I thought I’d misread the problem <_<), and I’d felt that I’d done poorly on the essay. I’m very, very pleased about this score, though.

So glad so many of us are happy with our scores. I’d say this is a pretty good turnout for CC, so far.

Thanks for the congratulations. Go internationals!

Congratulations to everyone!

I believe all Ivy League schools superscore.

Before I go to bed, I want to post my SAT history because I officially feel like a success story. :P

Sophomore PSAT:
CR 53, M 70, W 95
Sophomore SAT:
CR 590, M 680, W 800
Junior PSAT:
CR 70, M 70, W 73

AND NOW!
Junior SAT:
CR 790 M 770 W 800 !!!

I’m sorry to ask again, but my computer isn’t showing my essay vs. MC score for Writing. Anybody else having this problem?

Is it normal for there to be this many 2300+s? I don’t recall there being this many in December or November…

The essay and MC subscore might not be available for everybody. It has been known to be unavailable to some people until they release detailed score reports.

^ okay cool, thanks.

hahah i got a 170 on the PSAT this october. got a 2030 nowww… thats what tutoring will do for ya…

Hmm, 2280 first shot. CR/Math/Writing 800/770/710
Should I retake?

We just happen to be a really smart bunch? Haha.

I’ve heard that people usually do better in January because it’s on the 23st and they take advantage of the time? Wait a minute…oh, I guess not everyone has winter vacation throughout January. I don’t know.

I had two goals (for the first try): 1800 superscore, 1200 CR + M

Considering I kept missing the two reading questions they conveniently stick on backside of the pages at the end of sections…i’m ****ed

Critical Reading: 600
Math: 590
Writing: 650 (67 raw,8 essay)

Any suggestions on how to improve that score!?! This sucks…i’ll be seeing SAT I atleast another time

I got 11 essay. It was missing a line which I never got to sneak in, lol!

So happy :)

i trusted u schmucks thinking i did awesome and checking my answers with the posts, i was made to think i only got 6 wrong at most in all the sections. I ended up flatlining

@caizzacuz17: The answers posted were right. You must have made mistakes that you didn’t remember.

and getting mid 600s, all the schools i applied to . i want to cry

CR: 750
M: 770
W: 670 with 8 essay.
I hoped for 800 Math and 10 essay but that is enough. 2190. 10 more points and I can have 2200 =.=
Congratulations you guys who have achieved your goal
btw, what is national percentile?

@caizzacuz: I do too…

i got 67 for writing MC raw score (out of a possible 20-80). can someone tell me how many i got wrong?

Its your percentile against other Juniors. So if you have a 97% national percentile in Math, it means you did better than 97% of all College-bound seniors in the nation.
