^^ Lol. I backed off to out my cell on the charger and a moment later there’s an argument!

ya, im already bummed and i didnt get even get it back yet…i know i prolly didnt get what i wanted…but theres always that SLIM chance…

but lannisters right, we should prolly avoid the topic…until im out, which is in like 15-30

That Lannister is the most overconfident, cocky, showy, and spoiled kid I have ever had the fortune to meet.

@Lannister,
I do agree with that, but I have also seen enough in my life to know that good things also happen to bad people and that bad things do indeed happen to good people. I mean, I do think that having a positive attitude will make you a happier person and such, but I don’t think that two unrelated events can really affect each other…

Definitely, next time I’m in Utah.
The only H that matters!

Edit: didn’t post quick enough.

It’s ok, bayhawk.

We party hard here. Sometimes someone will be a party-pooper and bring an alcoholic beverage to a party. We usually just call the cops though. It’s a lovely atmosphere - so come out when you can.

one last argument before i go to sleep
and its really a restating of previous points

you are making the points you are making under the (possibly false) assumption that Harvard officers give a damn about rankings and that they consider GPA to be nominal (that is, @ face value)

which simply is not the case

a 4.0 =/= 4.0, doesnt even have to be harvard vs ASU

for example, maintaining a 3.2 is supposedly insanely difficulty @ U of Maryland, yet few of you consider U of MD to be one of the top 20

so, given that Harvard officers have a good idea of grade inflations @ various institutions, a 4.0 may not be uniformly interpreted as tip top

otherwise, why bother with top 20 colleges?
why not just go to a state school, breeze(relative to top 20) to a 4.0, then just go to an amazing grad school?

sincere apologies for digressing

gl to everyone and im going to sleep

i’m pretty sure we can attribute all of this grogginess in this forum to the fact that the SAT results are 2 hours and 44 minutes away… or maybe that’s just me

^ Agreed. :)

I swear I’m going to have a nervous breakdown. They’ll find me sprawled across my keyboard, dead and cold, having gone seconds before the Collegeboard page finished loading. Eeek!

I’m rewatching a bunch of Superbowl commercials on YouTube to pass the time. lol. I especially like the Doritos one where the kid goes, “Keep yo hands off my momma, keep yo hands off my Doritos!” :D

Haha, I remember you fledgling!

God, I need caffeine or something to keep me up. We’re all going to kill the CB server at 5 am by refreshing like crazy, overachieving children.

I loved that one, Fledgling. :D

I’m hoping I’ll have the courage to actually check my scores. I may chicken out and let it sit there for a couple of months. :P

up 50 points pretty pleased i guess
and i think someone already said, but if you have an eli account, your scores should be up there already!

What’s an eli account? Can I get one? I have a triple free in school in Europe and am just refreshing my collegeboard page like mad.

Screw waiting I’m just going to check when I wake up (-.-). Goodnight CC.

well hwpan, it’ll be up in a bit over an hour. no point in refreshing now haha
