was it like

Melville…Walden?

was it like

Melville…Walden?

I put diplomacy for the lend lease/yalta

and yea walden with melville (?) was incorrect because henry david thoreau wrote walden

I think Yalta and Lend Lease, and Byrnes was American diplomacy, not allied strategy.
Lend Lease was a strictly American diplomatic policy, and James Byrnes was the lead American Senator advising Roosevelt on his foreign policy issues (eventually becoming secretary of state).

And I put the period between 1945-1970 as highways because Interstate Highway system began under Eisenhower in the 1950’s and continued throughout the time period…hope that’s right.

I also put Melville.

I don’t remember this question with stagnation and inflation. Any reminders?

@hopeand the stagflation question was the same question you put for highways (i put highways also)

If it’s stagflation vs. highways, the correct answer I think should be highways.

I don’t think it actually used the word “stagflation”.

@Jahaba

ur right - it said high inflation and high unemployment I think?

hmm, weird. I remember putting down both stagnation + inflation (thats what it said im pretty sure) AND highways. For sure, i remember putting down highways. Maybe there are two questions?

funny how there were 90 questions, and i can remember about 7 of them…
Alfred Mahan= Influenced Sea Power (naval)

hmm as long as John Brown and American diplomacy were both correct answers, I dont believe Ive missed any (at least of the ones discussed)

:)

In November, after reading these threads, I knew I missed 3-4 already so it’s looking good for me so far.

btw: Agree with Mahan being naval power

what was the mahan naval power q?
Don’t remember at all.

Yeah, I picked John Brown and American diplomacy almost immediately. Mahan = naval, I read about him in kaplan review book the night before and saw it on one of the review questions. So lucky, haha

Highway was another question?was that related to urban expansion in the question?I somehow remember something like that at the weekend’s test…Gosh I realize I can’t remember the qs…and I accidentally put a literature related discussion post here last night…

I honestly cannot wait for the scores to come out… is it the 11th yet??

^ unfortunately ,yes…><

The proliferation of baseball’s popularity.

^
what? I dont remember that at all.

I remember that baseball question. The question asked why popularityof baseball grew between the late 1800’s and the early 1900’2.
For that question I said baseball grew because, of the growth of US cities.

Does anyone know the answer for LBJ war policy?

oo I remember now

sg do u remember the choices?

Okay. I said the growth of cities, too. I don’t recall the LBJ war policy question.
