I live in Bulgaria and I have never studied US history: so I took the exam just for fun. I answered about 40 of the questions, omitting the rest of them :D
What score do you you think would be that?

I thought the test was pretty fair. It was my first subject test, and I expected it to be much tougher. I know I got at least seven wrong though. Left four blank. Are we allowed to talk about specific questions yet?

I thought there were some dumb questions, like the Nixon's resignation/Watergate one. I skipped 7, but I don't really care; I got a 5 on the US History test 2 years ago and haven't thought about history since, and this is the last thing I have to do for my apps.

that nixon watergate one was on last years ap. i was like haha collegeboard. wayy to repeat questions.

i was kinda surprised and bummed that there were very few "culture" questions. i spent all of yesterday memorizing every single author. and the only pure "culture question" was something on painting which i didnt study that much.

oh and i got adam-onis wrong. goddd i just suddenly blanked

@elaslawek
yeah it was anasazi. but like the satii was asking for that. it said name the characteristics of the anasazi.... and i couldnt remember whether tribes in southwest were sedentary or nomadic....
bleh that was just one out of the 15 other questions i had problems on......

salt i, detente, new federalism was nixon right?

oh yeah and for the leader/organization that didnt belong... i thought the naacp one was right, but i think its the american indian movement/russell means was right... so naacp woudlve been right answer. damnit.

oh and i skipped this one, what was the foreign policy think for eisenhower and dulles??

salt i, detente, and new fed was nixon, im pretty sure, especially since they also said something about "peace with honor" which was his campaign against johnson's war...

the anasazi one...i thought they were sedentary but there were two answers for sedentary that i don't remember...I put one of the two

the naacp one was right. cleaver = black panthers, not the NAACP

i wasn't sure about the eisenhower one...i think i guessed

question...on that painting question...what was it?

Uncle tom's cabin basically shows how black were treated on farms... dont remember the question exactly but i remember getting that one.... here are the ones i had problems with:

-The picture with the 4 or 5 presidents walking on water?

-The picture with the white house changing looks

Was NATO basically meant to limit arms?

-Which battle was the downfall of the south in the civil war... was it Gettysburg or Vicksburg?? i picked getty......

at xiaohyolee: the Women and african americans question : More jobs not desegregation... i was confused at first but then i picked the jobs lol... we'll find out:D

i said the presidents walking on water was vietnam war. cus it had kennedy and johnson... and i think vietnam was what everyone said they made mistakes in

i said election of 1980, reagan's election, cus it was the time after ford and carter when everyone liked conservatism better... not entirely sure

i dont remember a nato question. but i thought nato was collective defense

well i think the civil war question was what allowed grant to take hold of mississippi. and that wouldve been vicksburg. but maybe i remember the question wrong. gettysburg ended all southern offense

^i also chose the election of 1980. coz the comic says that on the up right corner, although it's not printed really clearly lol
kinda "cheated" =P

I remember being really annoyed at the Anasazi tribe question. A little too trivial for me.

I'm pretty sure the cartoon one with the presidents was Vietnam.

The painting one was Jackson Pollack I think. He was into abstract art and junk.

What was the answer to the one about the things not included in the constitution? I put the electoral college, but I think it was the one about men getting the right to vote, or something? Does anyone remember that one???

no, cant say i remember that one... but this one questionnn!!!

a quote, freedom for all and no one shall be enslaved after today... something like that....

one of the choices was the emancipation proclomation but GUESS AGAIN... it wasnt the answer.... i chose thirteenth amendmant.... any ideas for this one???

Yeah, yeah!! I distinctly remember that quote question. I knew they were trying to trick people into putting the Emancipation proclamation. But the EP only freed slaves in the states that were in rebellion. The quote clearly said that all the sates in the union and the United Sates were freed. Does anyone remember the question about foreign policy under either Eisenhower or Truman? I can't remember which one. But I remember I put unilateralism. Was that right? None of the other choices sounded right to me.
