January 2012 Math I

I found it to be pretty easy, except number 46 and 48...
Number 46 was the one about the cubic equation, does anyone know the answer?

Do you recall the exact wording of the question?

I only omitted one, the area of squares of triangle with consecutive odd integer sides = 155, and I was so mad when I figured it out on my drive home. I just completely forgot that the triangle didn’t have to be a right; it was scalene with sides 5 7 9, so the area of the largest was B) 81.

But still, I guessed on too many of them. It was my first time taking it (and right after exam week), so I’m not terribly disappointed.

I attempted all, and as far as I remember all are right but knowing my luck a few will be silly mistakes. >_>.

anyone remember the one that showed a function and asked what the number 3 represented

I said it was the “number of gallons per minute”. It had to be either that out just “gallons”, I think.

i think it was gallons per minute because that multiplied by time in minutes yields gallons smh i put gallons

Yup, gallons per minute is right.
