ok good i guessed but how did u guys do that?

@Hazerdis was it with the fraction and exponents? Because I put 10^7 < x < 10^8

@indigo which one did u get wrong?

6rt27 one, I accidentally gridded it as 51 instead of 15…

uh no it was a different one where it was asking what is the greatest number when u sutract b-a but they like have the same thousands digit
oh i got that btw^^

b=8999
a=8000

b-a = 8999-8000 = 999

What did people get for the parabola one with ax^2 + bx+ c and you had to find a?

Mollify was wrong right?

I’ll offer an explanation for the 6 * sqrt(27) question, in case anyone would like to know how it was solved:

As I recall, the question gives you the following information:
-6 * sqrt(27) = n * sqrt(p)
-n and p are positive integers
-n > p

The question is asking for the value of n-p.

6 * sqrt(27) can be written as 6 * sqrt(3 * 3 * 3) = 6 * sqrt(3) * sqrt(9) = 18 * sqrt(3)

Looking at the referent values of n and p, n = 18 and p = 3, therefore, n - p = 18 - 3 = 15. Hope this is accurate and helpful to someone who was struggling.
