***January 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

I find the other official one was leading towards international, so I'd make a US only one --

Here is what I got for the fill ins

30
8
1920
7
26
145
55.6
1/4
5
2.67

Wasn’t it asking for the fraction not the percentage (the one where you put 55.6)?

I’m pretty sure it said “what percent” – no?

Also, for the essay, is one allowed to write about Frederick Douglass as an example? I know it was his quote, but I used Narrative of hte Life of Frederick Douglass as a literary example…

For 17 on the grid-in, I think they were asking you for the minimum amount of miles they would have to travel. You put the minimum amount of trips. Maybe I read it wrong, but then again, why would the college board give you the distance from his home to the store? if that’s the case, the answer should be 63.

harvardfanatic – that probably makes sense – that was like one of my last sections, and I was tired (lol) – I was wondering why they gave the miles, but I just ignored it, you are probably right

I got 63 for that one as well

this is what i got for one of the math sections

What was the answer to the last question on the writing section with the 14 questions and it talked about goat and cow cheeses?

for the goat and cow cheeses i said predated

I put predates

What was the essay topic.

Overtheline:

Basically, it asked you to say whether or not progress is a result of struggle

I agree with hrock500, I put predates. I was tempted to put predate, but predates makes sense since it was referring to a singular noun.

Is it possible to achieve progress without struggle or conflict

Im not very good at examples but i did steve jobs and the launch of apple, the womens rights movement and seneca falls convention and then the civil war and slavery

1st time taking sat

Also, for the math section with 16 q’s, what was the last question? I forgot it and I’ll be able to contribute if I remember it. And what was the answer to the remainder one?

Triangle one had 3 of the same choices?

X = 3,4,5,6,or 7
3=< x =< 7
2 < x < 8

It had to be 2 < x < 8 because that includes 2.1, 7.9 etc.

Question was to find all possible values of x, where x was the 3rd side of a triangle with the other 2 sides being 3 and 5
