I read on the Dartmouth admission’s website that if an applicant needs more time, he/she can submit the app on/before Jan 5, 2016. However, would the Common App still let me do such? The deadline on the Common App is Jan 1, 2016.

Really hoping this is a true extension, because I’ve been sick for the last four or five days.
