January Boston- London Program

“Your experience will begin in January 2016 with a semester in Boston, followed by six weeks in London during the summer term. You will join a community of approximately 300 students, who will come to BU to learn in a rigorous, interdisciplinary program from award-winning faculty. This unique curriculum integrates challenging coursework in the US and abroad and provides you with global perspectives in and out of the classroom. In the fall of 2016, you will continue in CGS as a sophomore and then complete your studies in your junior and senior years in the College of Arts & Sciences or one of our other undergraduate schools or colleges.”

I am very much okay with going to London in the summer and being in CGS, but January? Is there any way I get into fall?

there is no way you can change your admittance to the fall semester. They will be rooming you with people who are also in the program so I don’t think you will have trouble making friends, also the extra time first semester gives you the chance to take some classes or do some fun things!

Just to let you know. Same thing happened to me and I feel the same exact way. You worry about what you’re going to do in the fall, and falling behind the rest of the students who started in Fall of 2015. The letter they gave us online specifically told us we could not switch or take college credit class in the fall.

They told me when I called that we could take classes at a community college during the fall as long as you didn’t enroll in the community college as a degree seeking student. They also said a CGS adviser would call us during the summer and give us an idea of what course work we should be taking in the fall if we choose to take classes in the fall.
