January Update Question

I already have all my classes for spring 2012, but I'm thinking of not taking these two classes so I can work more hours (already have over 60 transferrable semester units). However, I listed these classes as "planned courses" when submitting the UC application in November. In the January update, can I remove these two classes from my planned schedule? I was hearing stuff about how if you want to update any planned courses for the spring, you'll have to notify the UCs via fax or mail. I really don't want to go through that process. Can anyone clarify? Thanks!

I don’t know the real answer, but it seems ludicrous to me that they’d expect everyone to know exactly which classes they will be taking. Classes fill up, are canceled, all the time.

I’m sure that in the Jan 9 update we’ll be able to remove/add planned/in progress courses.

The class list I submitted on my application was nothing like my actual schedule.
I think maybe 1 class was the same. It’s fine.

I am at Berkeley now. Didn’t make a difference. I updated my grades in January and when they got my transcripts they fixed it.
