Japanese and Engineering

Does anyone know of any colleges that offer both a Japanese major and Engineering majors (mechanical and chemical)? Any help would be great!!

Berkeley, Stanford, UCLA, to name a few. I'm sure many of the big name schools will have this; many schools will have both. What you have to check is if you are able to take enough classes to fulfill requirements for both majors, as engineering students often have almost all of their schedules planned for them.

Columbia University
Cornell University
Harvard University
Stanford University
University of California-Berkeley
University of California-Los Angeles
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
University of Pennsylvania
University of Washington
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Yale University

MIT has a Japanese program, but no major per se -- a student interested in Japanese at MIT could minor in it, or could choose to create his or her own major called 21E (Engineering and Humanities) combining Japanese with mechanical or chemical engineering.

I would also recommend UCB and UCLA for their strong Japanese and Engineering majors.

WUStL also has all these majors.
