I apologize if this question has been asked before (if so, please direct me to the thread) but I was wondering what most JD/MBAs end up doing immediately after school. The joint degree always seemed like a good idea to me (esp. if you're looking at a 3 year law degree anyway.....the MBA would likely give one greater credibility to ones legal clients). But I'm curious how it is seen by business employers. Are JD/MBAs viewed as more desirable to certain businesses, and if so, which industries? Or are they seen as risk averse individuals who don't know what they want to do with their lives so they stay in school? I'm not so much interested in the "is it worth it question" (that has to be highly dependent on your personal circumstances) but rather, if you do it, what can you expect during recruiting season?

Also, for what it’s worth…I had in mind one of the top JD/MBA programs such as Columbia, Harvard, Chicago, Penn, etc.

I believe there is another thread in the Law forum that might provide you with some information.
