Hey guys, early applicant here. I am not in a nominating region sadly… first off, is there any way to get your school to register for nomination even if you are not in a nominating region? And secondly, I know that they say that EA applicants are automatically reviewed for JS possibility. But my question here is: is this really a viable option? I just have a tough time believing that many get invited to an interview that weren’t nominated, as this seems like a large amount of extra review time. Maybe @screenname0012 can help out here… were any of the Scholars your enrollment year from the EA pool? Or do you know of any that even made it to selection weekend? Thanks for reading and for the help!
There are at-large finalists, who are chosen from the EA applicant pool who are not in a nominating region. They do come to the weekend, and are treated exactly like the regular finalists; in fact, I have no idea who was at-large and who went through the conventional process
do you know when the admissions’ office nominees are notified?
