also applying for financial aid

you should probably post this stuff on the Upenn overall forum, this forum is for accepted penn students  that being said, I think you have a shot; im only wharton so I’m not too sure about the M&T program but your math scores and science scores seem legit and it looks like you have a good amount of ECs , dont worry about the SAT score unless you got below a 700 in math, they understand you’re an international, I think you might get in. But then again that program is really competitive so, you never know…

M&T is extremely competitive, and unfortunately, I think your chances are unlikely because of your SAT score.

As someone who is a freshman in M&T now, I would say you have a shot. It’s really very hard to say for sure. The M&T program selects a certain type of student which is hard to define and there is a wide range of test scores, previous education, and in school activities represented. I personally still find myself at times unsure of how I got in since my essay topic (robotics team I started at the local middle school) doesn’t seem to be as impressive as the things some of my peers have done (for example one girl was a semi-finalist in the Siemens competition). Good luck to you though! It’s a great program and I’m extremely happy that I ended up in it.

I think you stand a low chance of getting in. But then again, I don’t think there is any one in the world who has more than a low chance of getting in to such a prestigious course  All the best! :D
