How is the Jewish community at Wesleyan? How many people attend Friday night services or dinner or holiday parties like a Purim party or passover seder? Is it the same 20 or so people? How loud is the BDS voice?
There’s a small but vocal BDS presence. And, though I’m not Jewish, my observation is that Shabbat services are nowhere near universally attended. There is a temple right down the hill, but, again, I’ve never observed any heightened foot traffic between sundown Friday and Saturday.
Call (or email) the campus groups directly. Ask for numbers. Or call the temples in the area and ask.
