“The pair applied to more than 18 scholarships, making them highly experienced at scholarship requirements. Brown won several scholarships, including $3,000 from the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Haubenstricker’s efforts paid off when she received a grant from Johns Hopkins University for $44,000 per year, renewable.”

1st emp.;
Give me a break. Maryland Higher Education Commission is a state financial assistance program, and provides need-based **grants]/b to low-income students.

2nd emp.:
And what the ****? JHU does not guarantees the renewability of its grants. It only advises that the financial aid offer will probably remain the same depending upon the individual’s financial situation in the rest of the years. Plus categorizing JHU’s grant as a “scholarship” is a vast exaggeration.

lol. Interesting to see the rest though. Thanks for posting! I wonder how you got all this!

Well if it is the Bloomberg or something like it then I could see it as sort of a scholarship. I guess it depends on your viewpoint.

I googled Johns Hopkins and high school in the news section. Lots of links came up. I saw it done on another thread here so figured I would do it for my alma mater as well!

nice!!! i cant wait to meet my classmates :)
