I can share my stats. Some background:
My school runs a grade scale:
80-100: A
65-79: B
50-65: C
39-50: D
0-38: F
I am from Alberta, Canada. I applied ED II. First choice Global Health and second choice Philosophy. I am Indian.
GPA: 93.27% (3.98)
Test Optional
I took max rigor at school (2 AP’s). To compensate, I took 3 senior level classes in my junior year and I am taking applied ecology at my local university.
Essay’s were quite amazing.
Extracurricular’s were strong (started online business 17k+ revenue, head volunteer at many tutoring facilities, work with special needs children at daycare fundraised thousands, internships as the director in which I was leading people 10 years older than me, created advertisements which got over 200k views, leader for medical clubs at my school, Taekwondo I placed third provincially, published author, worked with Make A Difference to fundraise in India and to provide an education to underprivileged communities, captain of soccer team at school, etc.
Both letter’s of rec said I was the best student they had ever come across in all their year’s of teaching over 5000 students.
I did not apply for financial aid.

I applied test optional and requested financial aid, so I’m very scared that I won’t get in. My checklist also dissapeared, ivy leagues’ checklists show final year grade report awaiting if they are accepting or waitlisting their applicats. Is that the same for JH? Did anyone apply for fin aid?

I applied for financial aid initially. But then I cancelled it. Johns Hopkins doesn’t give aid to many students. I probably won’t get in as I applied biomedical engineering. But wish you all the best

Haha I appreciate that. I just feel like I’m lacking a wow factor, I feel pretty average.
Also just curious, did you guys like go into specifics in your activities section? All of my descriptions were only a couple words. I felt like everything was pretty self explanatory
