JHU need-based financial aid package?

I want to apply to JHU early decision (binding). My understanding is that JHU will meet your needs for the financial aid. Because the school is so expensive (about 58,000$ for tuition & housing) and my family has a low income ($50,000 with 2 siblings already in college), I will need a substantial amount of financial aid.

what kind of financial aid would i qualify to receive? assuming i was accepted, would i get loans or grants? i'd really rather not have to take loans, or go into debt, so i'm worried about applying for the binding early decision.

Hopkins has a financial need calculator tool that you can access here. <a href=“Tuition & Aid | Johns Hopkins University Admissions”>http://apply.jhu.edu/finaid/</a>.

Definitely run your numbers through the npc. I thought their net price was very good when I tried our numbers.
With income of about $60,000 and family of 5 the netprice showed $13,000 for us.
