Joaty: A New Term To Describe Balanced, Non-Spiky Kids

In this forum, and I presume elsewhere, there are some terms we use to describe kids’ behaviors, personalities, and interests:

Artsy, Crunchy, Sporty, Nerdy

So I was pondering whether we could come up with a term for kids who do not have a behavioral or interest “type” – kids who have a variety of interests and aren’t really spiked in any one area.

Forthwith, I present to you the following:

Nouns:
Joatmon - Jack of all trades, master of none

“Joat” for short

Adjective: Joaty

Shall we launch Joatmon/Joat/Joaty into the popular lexicon?

I think that the established term is “well-rounded”.

I don’t like it. It sounds too much like “Jorts”, which is an ugly word which was never needed.

I guess that Joat gets stuck in my Throat.

For the most selective colleges, would getting admitted require one of:

  • Joaty + big Spikey
  • Joaty + big Hooked
  • Joaty + lesser Spikey + lesser Hooked
