after you graduate from usc, what's the job market or grad school field look like? im looking specifically students who graduate from marshall business or college of arts/science and want to go to law school or enter the business field. who tends to hire? what law/business schools do they tend to go to? etc.

Speaking as a soon to be Marshall UG graduate, as long as you have a 3.2 GPA and up, have good interpersonal skills, actively recruit, show leadership (in clubs, etc), and have internship experience, you are almost guaranteed a good to great job by the end of your senior year.

Leventhal graduates have it even better. With the things listed above, if you graduate from Leventhal, you have a very strong chance at getting a job at the Big 4, and almost guaranteed job from the 2nd tier firms like Grant Thorton, etc.

i would like to make a slight correction to the above post:

if you have a decent gpa (+2.8) and you take advantage of the resources of the career center (on campus interviews, monstertrak, info nights, trojan family, networking, etc), you WILL have a job upon graduation.

I have not met a recent grad that has done the above graduate without atleast one job offer. and the only kids you see who dont graduate are the stupid ones who dont take advantage of what they have. incredibly, these people still get jobs eventually. over 300 firms come to USC. the official list is on our career website.
