I completed my BS in Electrical Engineering in May 2011. Currently, I'm working as an Estimation Engineer at a contracting company. I'm considering to pursue MS in Supply Chain and Operations Management starting Fall 2014.
After MS, I wish to obtain a job in which my electrical engineering coursework will help me to understand the technical aspect of the product whereas my work experience and MS education will help me to deal with the planning, manufacturing, monitoring and storing the supply of the same goods.

However, after doing some research online, there seems to be not a lot of supply chain jobs pertaining to electrical engineering. I'm very interested in supply chain and operations as a career option, but I guess I need to be sure whether or not its a sound career move for me as an engineer.
I'll really appreciate your advice on this.
Thank you.
