Job Prospects after Bachelor's Degree in USA

I have been admitted to 2 US Universities . I am planning on doing a major in International Business or Finance . I have following questions -

Q1. Which of the 2 majors {{International Business / Finance }} have a higher value for money i.e provides best remunerations in long run ?

Q2. DO any of the above mentioned majors will help me in securing a job in USA or a Master's degree is necessary , which I know is really becoming the new pre requisite for entering into the management sector ?

Thanks you all in advance .

Let’s save everyone some trouble, read this thread:

Thanks hmom5 for the link , but it still doesnt answer question #1 .

I’ll answer with another question: how much do you like math?

Hard to generalize because there’s a very wide range of what you might do with either major, but in general, finance.

I love maths , I find it really interesting .

bump…

No one wants to help !!!

I have one question for you: do you read the news?

Nah, I’m kidding, well you should read the news, but if business/finance is what you really want to do then ok. These jobs will not help you “secure” a job in the US. It’s practically impossible for any major but I think you already know that. That being said, I’d say you go for a finance BA to get a solid foundation in math. Go to business school and do your focus in international business. And an MBA is generally better than a master’s in finance.

Just stay away from investment firms, banks and other companies under TARP or companies bailed out by the US goverment.
