Jobs for Bachelor's in Education (minor in Special Ed)? Not teaching though :(

So I was wondering what types of jobs/careers dont mind what your major is, but prefer (any) bachelor’s degree? Something that pays above minimum wage preferably.

Teaching, unfortunately, is not an option due to slander. Sucks, but we need some new form of income and get rejected from entry level jobs because we are over qualified. Now I am considering if we can use the degree to seek maybe a management position or something like that? I am not sure.

Thoughts? Experiences? Advice?

edit: also we dont have the means to sue but trust me I would in a heartbeat! Likewise, we also do not have the money to pay for a certification exam or vocational classes :’(

“We”-- you’ve both been slandered?

How about educational publishing? I’ve done a fair amount of freelance writing on educational websites and textbook companies.

Is it safe to assume you would not get a good reference from your former school?

Sorry; I say “we” as in us as a family. I am used to saying that, but its a pretty bad habit. Its my mother who has been slandered pretty bad (by her ex husband who is a principal). Since our city’s school districts both are VERY political and who-knows-who, my mom has kinda accepted she wont get hired. She still goes to interviews but its easy to see that they dont care.

I will ask her to look into that! She doesnt have experience with publishing, but is bilingual and has taken numerous psych classes along with years of teaching experience! I hope that helps.

@ Flo123, yeah, its safe to assume. She has no idea what her former school says, but its likely not good and maybe even disgusting

Has mom tried non-public schools? Private/religious// charter schools?

Also, is there a paper trail? Has she ever been disciplined-- with the paperwork to prove it?

You could move to a town/city that has a huge shortage in bilingual education.
