What are some good fun and well paying jobs for high schoolers

Retail seems popular. As does waiting tables/hosting. And tutoring.

I work as a cook at a restaurant in my town. Its a pretty good pay, not to mention a lot of fun waitresses to play around with... But anyway,my paycheck is around $190 per week, but that is working from monday-saturday at 5:00 to 10:00. And being in my junior year does not help much, either.

But I pretty much agree with Melancholy, waiting tables can get you some pretty good money because of tips, for my co workers sometimes make around $90 on a busy night.

Barista-ing!

Freelance tutoring. You set your own rates and hours, and you also don't pay any tax on it.

Ditto futurenyustudent.

Also if you work at certain clothing stores, you get nice discounts. My friend who works at Puma gets $8/hour with a 60% employee discount (which is pretty nice, but I don't shop too much at Puma), whereas another friend of mine who works at Nordstrom gets $10/hour with a 20% employee discount.

I'm in love with employee discounts. I think that I will try to get a job at Forever21 when second semester begins.

i wanna get a job at nordstrom rack. but i only wanna work on weekends

Everyone in my city has either worked at the YMCA, a local regional theatre (that's where I work), or the library. I also have friends who do catering, and I babysit ALL THE TIME (there are 11 kids under 10 on my block. seriously).
