I'm interested in goinging into pharmacy, and I was wondering if JHU has a pharm program or has pre pharm. I checked the undrgrad academics but couldn't find anything. on the graduate page, there is a pharm residentcy training but im not sure if this is what i'm looking for because I do not know what it exactly is.

In simple terms, will jhu provide me with an oppurtunity to be a pharmacist. if yes, how does this school go in terms of pharm ranking. right now im planning to apply to rutgers as well

will a ~2200 SAT, top 10 percent, decents ecs and a good essay and dec recs be enough. yeah i know its vague but im just trying to get a sense of if my goal is realistic

JHU doesn’t have a pharmacy program but you can be pre-pharm there, it would basically be taking the pre-med prereqs along with all the premeds.

With all due respect, no one goes to Johns Hopkins (it’s Johns, not John) to become a pharmacist. To prepare for or get a Ph.D in pharmacology–yes, absolutely. But to be a pharmacist, no.

There is an excellent school of pharmacy in Baltimore, however. It is at the University of Maryland at Baltimore and I’m told it is one of the best in the country.

LOL, you want to go to a cuthroat program like JHU with all the overcompetitive premeds trying to sabotage your grade in organic chemistry then end up going to pharmacy school? Why all the work- take the shortest road. However pharmacists earn lots of money, just dont take the most difficult path to your goal
