I got an email today to set up my account. Question, I uploaded all tax docs via IDOC on Sunday but shows outstanding in portal. I think I read it may take a couple of days to transmit. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks!
@STEM2021 I also did the same thing and it hasn’t been processed yet. This is normal and should take a couple business days.
Thanks! @masquerade98
Did anyone not get their portal info yet?
My son got it last week

Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.):
did any of you guys interview? I just got an email from an alumni interviewer today (I requested an interview on dec 5) and my interview will be on saturday, march 4 in the afternoon, and i was wondering how much the interview will count since it’s so late and close to decision day (march 17). i wasn’t even expecting an interview since its so late right now in the admission process.
@Eeeee127 how did you request an interview?
@TikopiaRock28 I requested on the John’s Hopkins website but u can’t request anymore
I think I might have requested one. I can’t remember at this point. But I haven’t received any notification of one.
Does anyone know if Hopkins sends likely letters and if it’s just to URM?
I submitted an interview request in January and have received neither an interview nor an email saying there aren’t any interview opportunities. I assume (with 2 weeks left) I will not receive one but I was just curious as to why some people received an email saying they would not receive one and I didn’t.
@jhosk10 I also requested an interview with no reply and I ended up calling the JHU admissions office. They basically told me that it was the responsibility of the local alumni to reach out and contact you, but if they didn’t it wouldn’t impact your decision in any way. Still kind of lame though.
@slang4201 I had an interview way back in January. Honestly, it wasn’t much of an “interview” more than it was just a private information session and asking my interviewer questions about life in JHU.
Hey guys, I’m an international applicant, and I’m really worried about my incomplete Financial checklist. I’ve sent them everything they requested (CSS, IDOC), but my JHU portal only shows 1 item (CSS) and its status is Awaiting.(my financial checklist in every other school I applied to is complete.) I sent them an email about this back in early Feb and they said they had to change the documents’ status manually so it took time.
However, the decision day is quickly approaching and my Financial status is still awaiting … I’ve been checking people in situations similar to me in previous years and they all got rejected :(( Is this the way JHU tells you that you’re rejected
