@karatekid666, I don’t know about a preview of essays, but my essays (last year’s) were pretty generic. Why Hopkins, why the major(s) you indicated, and the common app essay (which allows you to choose between a bunch of really stereotypical prompts or make your own).

I NEED to start on the Hopkins essays. I want them to be perfect

I’m applying ED, majoring in Neuroscience and Philosophy (also planning on premed). It’s my dream school! I’m revising, revising, revising my essays. They give a lot of importance on your writing so do lots of revising guys! I hope we all get in :D

Chix, they released the prompts?

Nope not yet, just my common app essay and the usual supplement “Why are you majoring in that area” hopkins essay. I’m not sure what their communities supplement essay is on though…

Any one have an idea of the prompt?

Just a heads up: Hopkins released their supplements!

Anyone making progress on essays?

So I am completely and absolutely in love with Hopkins, I have visited already and interviewed and am also doing an overnight visit! If I had the chance to go to any school right now it would be JHU (if you cannot tell already, I’m in LOVE! haha) I want to ED but I feel as though my SAT scores are holding me back (its only a 1950 Math level 2: 740 US History: 740 and Chem:670) I am eleventh in my class and am greatly involved inside and outside of my school. I was wondering what you guys think about me doing Early decision, any bit of advice would be great thanks (I dont know if this was the right post to put this on, but I thought you guys would have a good idea)

anybody know anything about admission numbers for recruited athletes?

No idea, frostie.

Anyone else not begin supplements yet?
