@HuangoBango I applied ED. The opportunity to forgo months of nerve-racking waiting was too tempting.
Did you guys submit any SAT subject test scores? I did physics and math 2.
chem math2 biom uhist
Will it hurt you if you don’t send any? I only sent my math 2 score because my physics score wasn’t too good. It says on their website that they’ll consider the two highest subject test scores…so does this mean that they won’t consider my math 2 score?
i do not think it will hurt you but it could benefit you if you send “good” scores.
I interviewed with one of the admissions officers and she said that SAT subject scores are not very important. She said they like to see them for BME kids
Hey guys, for the interviews even though aren’t any alumni in my area. I still got a Skype one. If you registered for an interview, you may want to check in if you can do online
@joey374, did you actually interview with an admissions officer, or just have a discussion with one? I always thought interviews were with alumni? What other great information did you glean during your interview that you are willing to share with us?
@northstarfx She came to my school for a presentation and I was the only one to go. It ended up being kind of an informal interview / info session. No real secret info obtained from the meeting besides the thing about the SAT subject tests sorry
That works in my favor. My subject scores are not very good compared to most of you, 760 Math II and only 700 US History
I requested it in the beginning of November and my interview is this Saturday. I live near a highly populated city, so maybe that’s why I received mine. I wouldn’t worry about it.
Ugh I applied back in September the suspense is killing me
Hi guys, I have two questions:
- Has anyone gotten the portal link for admissions decision release yet? I got an email saying that I’ll get the actual log-in but haven’t received that yet.
- Does not having an interview/having one (strongly) impact your application?
Hey @imdesparate1999 love the name!
- I received the same email as you, but not the log-in info either so don’t worry
- The interviews are only supposed to be informative and thus have little impact on your application
Good luck!
@imdesparate1999 The portal link email will be sent on November 30th.
@joey374 and @EvenfallsWolf :
Haha, thank you, this screen name describes me well. And, thank you both for answering!
When do you suppose they finish the decision process? A week before they release it? Two weeks? I’m guessing they need time to sort out the mail to send out and double check stuff right
It’s scary that there’s a possibility they’ve already decided on who’s admitted and who’s rejected :-S
I’ve been thinking that too. I’m nervous about my decision but it’s possible they’ve already decided on me
This page gives some info on that
