Joining a lot of clubs = better chance?

<p>If you join a lot of clubs along with a 4.0 GPA, do you have a better choice of going to a good college? What about if you have a bad SAT score?</p>

<p>Good grades, good SAT scores, and solid extracurricular activity participation increase acceptance chances; lack of any of these hurts chances.</p>

<p>Just joining a bunch of clubs is pretty weak. You need to show dedication to a couple of them, leadership is preferable.</p>
