<p>I just got the package that said I was a Joyce Scholar. For those of you who do not know, the Joyce is an all-expenses paid trip to ND for four years, including stipend, books, etc. Anyone else win it? My stats are in the official decision thread.</p>

<p>Congratulations! I assume this is from an outside source? I am 99.99% sure Notre Dame doesn't give merit money.</p>

<p>It is a trip? Do you get to go to school or anything on this trip...that is a long trip! Just kidding with you, don't worry (I have problems with words so that is why). Congrats, that is awesome! I do agree on the merit money, however, but that is still very cool.</p>

<p>its definitely not from nd itself. probably from an alumni club? gee i wish my alumni club would be this generous. they are only giving 2 scholarships of 1500 per year to people from my county.</p>

<p>I was holding out for admission to Caltech (waitlisted), but I guess you can't beat free college. I am just so freaking happy right now!</p>
