JP Morgan Internships and HBS 2+2

I am about to start my freshman year at the University of Florida and my future goal is to work at JP Morgan one day. I am interested in applying for their Summer Analyst intern position for Sophomores and Juniors next summer. What types of extracurriculars should I involve myself in and what is a competitive GPA? I am going to double major in Economics through the school of business and Anthropology through the liberal arts college. Since I have a clean slate, I don't want to make any mistakes. I am also interested in the HBS 2+2 program, does anyone have advice for that?

3.7+
do well in school.
get involved in whatever you are interested in and be a LEADER
talk to people and network
start to develop career goals (measurable, 5, 10, 15 yrs)
have a plan. execute.

have fun :)

HBS 2+2 is greared towards “non-standard” candidates who wouldn’t apply for a regular MBA. So, if you’re planning on doing a business track, working banking internships, HBS 2+2 is not for you; they’ll want you for the standard MBA program. However, getting on track with internships at a major bank is a great way to get a job. If you intern at JP Morgan your sophomore year, come back for your junior year, and do well, you’re very likely to get an offer. Then, once at JP Morgan, you can make a fairly comfortable living and consider going for your MBA.

Hope that makes sense!

(^Also, everything that guy said.)
