Hey, I was invited to this JSA summer school camp, and I was interested in taking the AP U.S History course. I wanted to know how difficult it is, and if it is worth 5 weeks of summer. Note- I am not a nerd at all, I love to play sports and party, but I am a hard worker as well. How enjoyable would this summer school be?

anyone?? really need help making this decision

I didn’t attend the AP USH program at UVA but I took International Relations at Princeton last year. At first my intention of attending this program was just to experience what it felt like to live away from home but in the end it turned out to be so much more than that. I befriended so many genuine and intelligent people and some of my roommates and floor mates are some of my closest friends today. Yes this program will be intensive and there will be nights where you have to stay up late and finish your work but it’s definitely worth it. JSA has definitely made a positive impact on my life, I’ve learned a lot of things about myself that I wouldn’t have known if I wouldn’t have gone, and I do not regret going to the program at all. I would say just go for it and have fun. Trust me you won’t regret attending this program.

Hi, did you end up taking this course? I’m in the same situation and was wondering if it was worth it for you and what your experience with JSA APUSH was
