Judge my ECs. I'll Judge Yours!

Well it seems like no one is judging my ECs anymore but i got mostly 7.0 ish so i guess i have to improve a bit.

Painista: Wow, 9.0. I am impressed.

Demonsword:7... you have a lot of leadership positions.. however i did not see volunteering and that may be a problem.

oh woops. sorry. i missed swamp's comment.. i had thought both of you didn't see my post :P
i feel really bad now. :X

swamp- 7.5-8.5 given that you can write a good essay about table tennis. ;) yeah the table tennis is very impressive. you seem to be very talented and dedicated. woah are you guys the one who made the podcasts for euro too?? because some of my friends found a site with podcasts and that's what we use to get by in class :)

demonsword- 6.5-8 depending on what you've actually done in the clubs.. as in like did you change stuff, were you a good leader? :) you show focus, but not anything way amazing obviously you're into the humanities: history, politics, rhetoric. perhaps if you're not a senior yet or even if you are you could volunteer at a law office or for obama's or a local campaign.

Everyone seems to be above 5 which makes theirs better than average i guess... atleast by CCs standards. Any more?

I'll rate the others later, but here's mine:

Here are mine:

hey gmit

8.5-9.0... very nice ECs especially the volunteering.. committing 600 hours to a single cause is a very tough thing to achieve. Your extra curriculars also seems very balanced with the organization of some large scale events. I think you are in good shape. It now depends on your grades and such.

[/quote]

Heh, I wish I did; but no, we didn't make podcasts for Euro, only US. Although I would rather have taken Euro than US...my school didn't offer it. I just might self study it this year.

pretzeldude: strong ECs, you hold leadership/management positions in many of them, plus you work, plus a good amount of volunteering, probably 8-9, they're excellent

gmitil10: great ECs because they're (obviously) related to your intended major, leadership in a lot of them, did I mention you have a lot of volunteering hours under your belt? I'd say 8-9 again.

Wow I'm just looking through these EC profiles, and everyone is so much stronger than I am haha. It really is intimidating to read about fellow peers on CC.

rhiess: definitely talented in music, having those positions shows your talent, you seem very passionate (and definitely talented) in your sport (an uncommon one too, which is a plus!) and have awesome awards in it, top it off with a great amount of volunteering hours, 8.5-9.5

Anyone else want to evaluate me? My post is near the top of this page. My ECs aren't my strong point...my grades/test scores seem much better than my ECs....

swamp147: you have a great niche in table tennis, very unique...(great awards as well :) ) it would be great if you made the club at your school. you summer job in research is a plus too. (whats your intended major?)
7.5-8.5

Shad, I'd give you a a 7.0-7.5 as well. Your EC's seem pretty well balanced and you seem genuinely interested in medicine, as apparent by your stellar volunteer work in the hospital and other medical fields. As said earlier, I don't see much commitment in 9th grade for some reason.

Pesky, I'd give you a 7.5-8 range because it seems you are very passionate about robotics and it shows an interest in a specific thing, not just a laundry list.

My whole life has revolved around medicine because I was born with a congenital medical disability and both parents are doctors so I am intimately connected with the medical field in my opinion. My EC's reflect this passion of medicine and the sciences. But my major non-career passion is music since I have been singing since the age of two so a lot of my EC's reflect that as well. Just a little background info.
