factory system

i just looked up the answers to two of the questions I guessed on towards the end and I got both wrong... I guessed on the campbell's soup question, i put down the Pollock guy and that's wrong. I also guessed on the Scarlet Letter question and got that one wrong too...

I know I guessed on a ton more but those are the only ones I can remember... I should have never guessed, it's gonna cost me points

Was it army or technology? ( I put tech. b/c after WW2 I was thinking that the Russian Army was devasted).

im on the verge of cancelling my score.

oh yea I remember another question now... it was the one with the poem about going to work I said it promoted Taylorism... is that one wrong as well?

I think the answer should have been to promote cooperation among workers... but that just didn't seem right to me...

union something maybe? ^

What was the answer to the one where one of the possible answer choices was the book Main Street?

And skeet daddy, right after WWII all teh soviets had going for them was a huge army- Hardly any Tech

And the poem didn't encourage Unions, it encouraged worker cooperation.

woo.. 1 right 79 incorrect, whats my score guys?

Damn- was that one question mainstreet something? What was the last one-(fed deficit didnt have to do with inflaton?).

The federal deficit did affect inflation

What was the answer to that question?

i put main street, factory system, worker cooperation, Warhol, and technology so far.

i was lost for the carter election one.

What question was that.. and answer? i forgot.

it was something like... what hurt carter's chances in the 1980 election, right?

wait that was another question.... which i got wrong. ew.

Same here Amina, I'm feeling an 800.

The Carter Election one was the Hostage Situation in Iran.

I put Taylorism because during the Progressive Era, Taylorism basically promoted scientific management of labor. Basically, it was an effort to make everything more efficient, like the assembly line.

So I thought the whistle blowing and the strict timing sort of showed that.

That sounds right Demeter, I knew what Taylorism was but for some reason I didn't put it.

you are right about the hostage thing.
[quote]
A public perception that the Carter Administration had been ineffectual in addressing the Iranian hostage crisis may have contributed to his defeat.

i messed that up cause i was thinking of Raegen and the iran-contra and i was like "nah, that wasn't it."

i hate that BS.

not sure but the poem also had that they had 5 mins to eat and then nothing else for the rest of the day or something, or until the whistle blew again.

what about the art expo one...they were surprised that they included paintings from which period...i put cubism?
