June 2006 - US History

i ommitted 6, and probably got about 10 wrong.

hopefully only 10 wrong.

so char...for me and AJ, who have about the same predicament scale score wise...what do you predict our scores to be

Can someone post the curve from the Real SAT II's book.

AJ- I predict at worst 770. Thats assuming 10 wrong and 2omits. MED, I don't know how many you think you got wrong, but 760 would be -16 and 780 would be -12. I think you're both in the really good score range.

Im in the same boart as MED and AJ, cept a little lower. 11 wrong, 3 omits. Prediction: Good Curve 760-770, Bad Curve: 740

I'll post the chart when i get a chance tomarow.

i think i'm gonna get 710-730 with a bad curve.

730-750 on a good curve.

I think I might have missed up to 20. Dude I wanna cancel. Cuz I wanna get over 700.

Wasn't there some sort of question where it said something like what changed most from articles to the Constitution? Like changed the relationship between the central government and states might have been the answer.

I think another choice was something about the regulation of foregin trade. I might be delusional.

i dont remember that question...but its possible

for the cold war quote, some say it was mc carthyism and some say it was truman. I marked this one wrong for me. Do you guys remember what the quote was saying, and what is your rational for choosing truman or mc carthy

It was McCarthy, someone actually proved it by finding the exact quote. Look in the past pages.

oh ok ... good

thanks

I picked mccarthy, and if I recall correctly, it was because it referred to the infiltration of communists within the United States, rather than dealing with communism abroad. If this answer was Truman, that would be an incredibly tricky question, as communists within US automatically triggers McCarthy in most people's minds.

didn't you guys have a lot of A's and E's on this test. It might have been the chem test though

841, could you explain in more detail the populist question? what were the other answer choices? i can't remember what i put...

and i think i remember another question. something about the Knights of Labor...

oh yeah it was unskilled labor thing, I vaguely remember that

I have another quesiton not mentioned i think. The question was like, which of the following books talked about motivation sof society or something like looking on one's actions. SOme answeres were like Grapes of Wrath, someting else..The Big Deal or sometihng, and other books. does anyone remember the question? I just vaguely remember the Grapes of Wrath was a wrong choice, but i guessed D for the answer.
