Astonishing & fluid was an answer.

Dang, I missed a lot of these o.o

Astonishing & fluid was an answer.

Dang, I missed a lot of these o.o

^^word, I put against extensive commercialization

Idk…it sounds like everyone did well on this test. Hope the scale isn’t too bad = D.

are you sure it wasn’t nimble for the amazing grace one?

what was the answer to the question in the passage about water, when it said according to this section, what would be the place where rocks are most likely to decompose?

i said cliff, tropical, because it mentioned heat helping that happen?

did someone get an answer for (i think the passage 2 not 1 Q) an answer choice E that had the words historical or culture

I also said cliff in a tropical ocean or something like that. I think that was the only place where water existed wasn’t it?

Yes it was the historical context. E.

Swim-
Again a tough question. After changing my answer 3 times, I also put tropical for three reasons.
1- They mentioned heat
2- They mentioned how water catalyzed rock aging
3- They mentioned salt

i think it was tropical ocean, because it talked extensively about the damaging effects of slat

I put volcano.

The lady said something about older and blah blah blah.

So, I figured, an “extinct” volcano is most likely to have the most … crap. Idfk.

^^ i put tropical ocean and cliff also!

swimrunstudy: I put cliff at tropical water also b/c salt water breaks it down faster, unless tropical water doesn’t have salt…

diligency: I vaguely remember historical or culture as my answer choice

glam-

wasn’t it historical force…not trying to be snub, just trying to figure out if I got it right. Also, was another answer like put forth a hypothesis for that one.

cliff tropical ocean yes
the 2nd question… the rock was hard or something
it wasnt hypotheses it was like restate idea or something D

the university i said they both gave quotes
passage 2 was more historical

was the reading thing self interested and altrustic?

I was leaning towards volcano, but then I realized it didn’t specify that there was any water around it idk, tropical made the most sense because all the other choices had nothing to do with water

No, there was nothing to indicate the author was self-interested and generous. I don’t remember the answer choices though.

I said both used direct quotations. Passage 1 talked about a current thing while Passage 2 put it in a historical context

My friend had a couple of questions (too lazy to get on here)

He said for the African American author, something about either
curiousity intelligence or expression of need or indifference of surroundings?

Also
He put volcano because it said heat+ old soil or something

and also
What would contradict the last paragraph in the last passage

was it the professors or the fact that that doctor said the drug was incorrect?

and the profs reactions was to the mall people?

Expression of need I think ^. I remember there being some pretty strong verbs which indicated it.
