But if something is verifiable with evidence, that means its also disprovable with evidence. The road works both ways.

Also for the dichotomy one, it said established, not upheld the dichotomy.

calm down lol

Provisional is the anwer after reading its many meanings.

this was like a level 6 question, so hard the its difficulty doesnt even exist. ;p

Agreed with Shah. This question was insane.

Was the darwin passage experimental?

So I have 2 wrong already on CR. Sigh, its just like last time. 3 wrong with a 740. Hopefully the curve is nicer this time.

OK, provisional, like a provisional license, it must be overlooked again, thus use the same concept…whered the list go

What do you guys think the curve will be? Hard or Medium? I think this CR was hard, so this curve will probably be 800 with a -3

I mean some people dont even know what empircal means let alone how to use it in context. Im expecting -3 800 for CR, this was much much much harder than both may and march

@ugaboga - According to you. If something is verifiable with evidence, it does NOT mean that it’s disprovable too. Just like being able to disprove something, doesn’t mean you can also prove it. It’s not a two-way street, as the sentence itself relayed.

Oh good. I got my 740 with 3 wrong on March which had the hardest curve ever overall (unless may was harder).

Fine, it probably was provisional. You win. Can anyone else weigh in on the dichotomy question? That one too was a *** question.

Mhm, I took the October one last (I know, ages ago), and I had -4, 760 which was fairly okay. I felt like this was a bit harder, but I still did better, so who knows what the curve ends up being…

The dichotomy question was very difficult, what were some of the other choices? I forget…

Looked up three of the words that I had put down as semi-guess answers. Got them all wrong…

do u guys know when we can check our scores?

what about -3, and 3 skipped? 720ish

ahhh I really hope the curve is good, the vocab killed me

I think we should petition CollegeBoard to strike the empirical/provisional question. The two words are obviously synonyms and fairly accurate responses.

Personally, I chose empirical because I felt that provisional was too “loose” (yes, I realize that that’s very vague, but that’s just how I felt during the test).

EDIT: And for those still debating the Roosevelt question, “charismatic” was the only response that made any sense whatsoever.

Somebody just email them. Its satquestion@info.collegeboard.org

Just send a brief question and describe the question and passage to the best of your ability.

Nevermind.

Can someone please elaborate in the “savvy” question? Can we move on from this hopeless debate? Each of us is so convinced of our own answers. Lets just discuss questions that are less controversial.

Um I forgot the question, but the answer was that people who go to zoos are savvy with the meaning behind the zoos (like, they know that the animals aren’t shows in their REAL environment and that it’s just for amusement)
