June 2010: International

The sentence completions were really hard; I’m glad I’m not alone in thinking that. I went home and searched the ones I didn’t know on dictionary.com though and got them right, so I’m happy about that :).

The passages were on the easier side. The language in them wasn’t too confusing or elaborate and I liked reading them.

Americans: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/939678-american-june-sat-math-section.html

I got the triangle square problem. 45-45-90 triangles were involved.

Oh wait, this must be the international thread? …

It started off as the international thread but it’s slowly becoming the thread on the American test. I do not know what is going to happen to this thread and I do not care about critical reading anymore so I guess I will leave this thread to take its due course.

The passages were easy, however the vocab was ridic hard.

29 was E I believe.

JebarPolsky: your post made me laugh. :)

did anyone notice the SC question with the word “vanguard” (the answer i thought?), used the same word right in the following passage, so you could guess the meaning right out of context B)

^^really random, i know, that was just the only one i had trouble on on that section, and it’s like they gave me the answer…i hope it was the answer :O

Nanotech–yeah, I noticed that! :)

^Me too! That was a gift; I wasn’t sure about that question.

??? nomore questions to be discuss

which sec was the exp.???///

well… how did you guys think???

Yeah, one more question. There was this one a^3 = b^2 which of the following is true. I got E - II and III. Correct?
Should be. You know, now I’m like 90% sure I got an 800 as long as that stupid -2/3 is correct.

^Uhh sorry but it was I and II. The mean can be below four if the other terms are 1. The median has to be four.

And the answer was 2/3, not -2/3.

actually i made it B which was just condition II

^ i really hope it was the braces one… I did way better at venus and serena’s

@Jimmy: Yep, that one I chose II and III either :)
