I honestly don’t know if this is a good enough score or not. It’s my first time taking it, so I always have next year if I want to take it again. What really ****ed me off was my essay score of 6. To me, that is complete BS. I mean, I wrote a 1 1/2 page, four paragraph essay with great vocabulary and sentence structure. There might have been a spelling error or two, but I think that it was a pretty good essay. It may not have been a 12, but I think that it was at least a 9 or 10. Anyway, should I retake, or should I just try to score well on the Math II and Physics Subject Tests this October to offset my abysmal math score?

Wow, suddenly my math and writing scores mean practically nothing.
At any rate, yes, there was one guy somewhere towards the beginning of the thread. Didn’t check much afterwards.

Can anyone tell me why I can’t view (or where I can view) the MC/Essay breakdown for the writing? I really want to know my essay score, see if I got that 12. I don’t feel like waiting til the 29th. Also want to know where my mistakes were in CR. I’m banking on vocab, I literally did those in less than 5 minutes total on the 3 sections. sigh And I thought they were so easy.

Mine shows my writing multiple choice score and essay score as a subsection for the writing score. Not sure what’s wrong with yours; maybe they haven’t uploaded that information for you yet.

In the span of 3 months, I improved by 250 points! 240 of those points were on the sections that matter! I’ll post my previous scores and my new ones.

CR: 570-730 (soooooooo happy)
M: 660-740
W: 660-670 (minimal increase, but an increase nonetheless)

went from a 1230/1890 to a 1470/2140. Thankfully, the 1470 is all that matters to Cornell!
