I guess I’m a concerned student as well since I’m on the site but thanks

Like a month after you got them online…or like a month after the exam?
Do you think we would get them sent by mail before July 7th?

Yesss?no?
Really need to know!
Thanks

Lol… Got 29 the first time on my ACT (w/o writing) and took the writing one in June and got a 27 composite (w/ and w/o writing)… However, I did get a 12 on my writing score…

I have yet to get my ACT scores should I be worried? At what point should I call in?

Calling won’t make you get your score any faster. Just wait. Check your scores online every wednesday and friday.

WHEN DOES ACT MAIL OUR SCORES HOMEEE

The act won’t mail it but go to your online scores and press the top right link with the .pdf end and you can print the mailing score sheet @shahshah97

So I had no idea that the scores were already out! I was lucky I just decided to log into my ACT account today because I’d figure it’d been a while. I didn’t actually expect to see them for another week or so.
COMPOSITE - 34
English - 35
Math - 35
Reading - 33
Science - 34
I was wondering…do colleges consider more than just your composite score? Because I feel like there’s a significant difference between a 33.5 composite (a 34) and a 34.25 composite (a 34): one is one question away from a 35, whereas the other is several. In my case, not only am I in this situation, but my two 35s are in the sections I feel would “matter” the most to colleges. Am I right in thinking I have something going for me with this? I would appreciate anyone’s input. Oh, and I am very happy and grateful with this score - I hope I’m not coming off as arrogant. I’m just curious, and I’ve found this site usually gives the best answers for stuff like this. Thanks!

But don’t they also mail scores home? I’m pretty sure they do, but I need to know when. Thanks

I have a question about reporting my results that I hope someone on here can answer–

My composite score is 35
36 English
32 Math
36 Reading
34 Science

However, my essay score is an 8, bringing down my score when weighted with the essay to a 32. Should I bother retaking if I’m happy with my composite of the four main subscores? Do college admissions officers really take the writing portion into consideration if the applicant is proficient in writing? As a point of reference, I am editor in chief of both the yearbook and newspaper at my school and I placed 4th in a state-wide journalism competition. Hope someone can answer this for me!

Does it really go down that far with the writing?! I’m not sure how to answer your question though sorry… But great job either way I have a question myself: I still haven’t gotten either of my MC or writing scores… Should I be worried? The suspense is killing me! I took it in England though, could that be a contributing factor? Also do they only come out on Wednesdays and Fridays and at what time?

I understand that scores are online but when does ACT mail them? Has anyone recieved there scores by mail yet?

If you are a 30+ , no. Don’t retake unless you want to take it again for fun/waste money or want to go for the 36. The writing portion, depending on where you apply will be looked up but it doesn’t matter as much as your overall score or(this is based on colleges I’m applying to) English and Math subsection.

33.5 is same as 34 to me.

Yes you can score higher to be at 36 but is it really worth it,aside from just being prideful ?Please keep in mind that although it is nice, the scores won’t matter when you apply for a job later on. Pretty sure those employers would care less about someone getting a 36 ACT.

That’s just my opinion though. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

^ ^
Yeah but employers would care about what college you went to, and with a 36 you are bound to go to a great school. Also, sammy, there is reason to retake a 30. The higher your test scores the higher the acceptance rate. For example, at Brown University the acceptance rate for applicants with a 33-35 on the act is 13%, while students with a 36 have a 25% chance at acceptance. If you have a 35.25 and are upset, retake the test! Only stop taking the test when you feel that you’ve reached your maximum scoring capability.

Composite: 30

Math: 28
Reading: 32
Science: 24

i’m really happy with my english and reading score, but i definitely need to improve on math and science (science… i can’t even. i ran out of time and guessed on most of the questions)
i’m planning on retaking the ACT; does anyone have any tips on improving on the science section?? :)

Composite: 32
English: 31
Math: 32
Reading: 30
Science: 34
Very happy with my scores, was hoping for a 31 and surprised myself. The science was always the easiest for me, and it certainly pulled through for me. First and last time I’m taking the ACT.

Still haven’t gotten my score online. What’s the deal?!

I’ve been told that as long as the writing is above an 8 you are ok - they dont really differentiate beyond that.
35 C, 33 E, 36 M, 36 R, 35 S. In an unrelated note, are anyone else’s SAT subject test scores still not out? Mine say unavailable

^^thags why I keep asking when we get scores in the mail but apparently nobody can’t answer that.

According to the college board site, we are getting them mailed on July 1, but you have to request it - <a href=“College Board Will No Longer Offer SAT Subject Tests or SAT with Essay – College Board Blog”>http://professionals.collegeboard.com/testing/sat-subject/scores/receive
