***June 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

I’m soooo done. Right now I’m watching the Animal Farm movie and going through the math and writing sections of the two last BB tests. I’ve given up on critical reading so welp. I’m trying to not worry or stress over this test because that’s what killed me in march (and that bijah passage; speaking of bijah if we get one like that on this SAT im going to shoot myself in the foot)

Had anyone made a Google doc yet? I want to post answers as soon as I’m done with the test so that I don’t forget.

What I’m doing:

Sharpening pencils
Going over vocab I missed
Looking at more examples
Going over more missed Math.

@humbugs Good luck! But don’t stress yourself too much!

It all ends today yayyy I’m trying to not get nervous

good luck everyone!!!
love y’all!!!
actually that came out worded really awkward bur still
good luck!!!

OMG I PUT 47.5 INSTEAD OF 47.4 FOR THE MPH QUESTION Please tell me itll still count lol  that’s my 800 right there

Did anyone else feel the test was insanely easy…? Curve predictions?

@Castigations‌ I think I did the same thing

What did people get for the last 4 of the 10min writing section, in letters? I forgot to turn the page and basically had to guess.

That was not difficult (I think!). This was my first and absolutely last SAT, I only took it for national merit reasons. My mind is dead… But I did manage to write about the miracle on ice, the portrait of Dorian grey, and rocky, so that was fun.

The math question about the fish blew my mind…

What did people get for the question where a line was shifted 6 over to the right? The answer was 6 and I’m sure of it but apparently some people say it’s 3.

Since y = kx + t, and y = mx + b, and the two lines have the same slope, that means y = mx + t and y = mx + b. Once you apply a horiz shift right, it would be y = mx + t - 6, and then you set that equal to y = mx + b. The mx cancels out, and you’re left with t - 6 = b, which then changes to t - b = 6.

The math and writing sections were good. I’m expecting my cr score to be grotesque lol

@MyRealName y = mx + t - 6 that’s a vertical shift

Lol why was this so easy. Expect harsh curves on math and writing and average curve on Cr

@superdub I know horizontal shift is f(x - b) and vertical shift is f(x) - b but it seems like that’s how everyone did it. But ppl say you were supposed to divide that answer by 2 because the line moves down 1.

idk lol i just found the x and y intercept

What did you guys get for the sequence question that went like the first term in a sequence is 2 and every term after is 3 less than the previous squared?

Same @superdub‌
