@capitalamerica Thats exactly what went through my mind when I picked that answer, so I think so!

and @spiritkoi I guess we will! :)

and @spiritkoi I guess we will! :)

I made the as… as parallel with a singular company too and I got E

Does anyone remember the first improving paragraphs question? It had something to do with Nellie Bly’s circumnavigation… I think I put something like “attempted a similar feat, traveling…”, but I think it was “As written”

@mizejonathan17 I have a hunch that this was the experimental writing section.

Nope I had that writing section and I’m pretty sure my experimental was in reading @humbugs

Btw humbug your user was on the test so I chose you lol (I was wrong tho :()

Did everyone have the graph where you had to shift it 6 spots to the right? I hope that was experimental

@jellybae Yeah the experimental was in CR (the one with lincoln/thoreau or graph)

@mizejonathan17 Not sure but I think that was something similar to “was better than the characters in verne’s novel”? Or am I thinking of a different question?

Post if you either didn’t have the section where the graph had to be shifted 6 to the right with the lines or if you didn’t have the section with the lines that each had an edge of two that was like a maze. That way we can figure out which was experimental.

@cpinvegas Pretty sure the experimental was CR.
(see my above post)

@Jellybae I said to myself during the test, “wow, my username is an answer choice!!” humbug means a dishonest person, though. sorry >.<

If the Bly passage wasn’t experimental, then that section was strangely easy. Was that the section with the mother-daughter orangutans?

@humbugs I don’t remember, but probably?

And lol if you had the CR with the graph in it, that was definitely the experimental one, although I’m not as sure about the lincoln thing.

@shinchang my essay was on whether lying was ok to avoid hurting peoples feelings or if telling the truth was better

@cpinvegas OH MY GOD THANK YOUUUU YOU ARE A LIFESAVER
I was so scared for the longest time omg
expecting a 10+ on the essay then.

@cpinvegas i had that math question so it wasn’t experimental

I wish my experimental section was as conspicuous as a CR section with a graph haha

@shinchang haha no problem, I’m expecting a 10+ too I wrote about The help, North Korea, and the Benghazi scandal

@cpinvegas oh lol my examples were super crappy and sketchy
i wrote about two books that i had to read for school this year lol
that seemingly pointless english class did pay off in the end

but i used a ton of sat words so it’s ok

What did you guys get for the writing question about the Louvre and the two art galleries? I think I put C (“showplace”) because I thought it was a diction error. Someone mentioned that the error had something to do with plural, but I guess other people just did NE, which is maybe why I only remember having 3 NE’s. :[

Edit: gg Showplace is a real word (thought it was supposed to be showcase).

There go my hopes for a 2400, unless I wrote an amazing essay. Hopefully I can just do well enough to get a high superscore since I got an 800 in writing already. :/

Yep, the noun had to be plural (showplaces not showplace). At least, that’s what I put.

Edit: @capitalamerica I feel ya. I was really rooting for a perfect score. I hear these stories about middle schoolers getting 2400 and I feel like I should get a 2400 too

It’s official.

I’ll be taking the test again come next year.
