June 2016 Geometry (Common Core) Regents

I guess that we just have had practice with frustums before. If the last trig problem on the January '16 exam had been on the exam, there would have been a similar reaction. Other than the frustum , I thought the rest of it was very fair.

However, the question only really requires the understanding of CPSTP. I would say that it was a hard question and maybe a little unfair though.

I have answers!!!

The graphing transformation q…should say 6 units. not 4

I think I got a 100:)

Congratulations!!! Think i got about 92-94. Misread 2 of the mc questions :(. Oh well still happy with that

Was that answer sheet real and accurate?

yes

I got 75/86 or 74/86 depending on the person who grades it and the NYS guidelines, so my raw score is in the 86-87 range. With the curve I got a 98, 99, or 100 depending on the negative curve. YAY!!!

@J1234567890 Congratulations!

@kimclan1 Well done!

So lucky

Wow I looked at the answer key and I may have actually gotten 100. Just depends on if the grader liked my explanations… :-S

@V1233333333 if your raw score was 74/86, that’s not a 100…It’s like an 87 final score

Hmmmm, I don’t think so.

a 74/86 can’t be a 100. You lost 12 credits. Maybe I’m misunderstanding you

Damn I was misunderstanding the conversion sheet. I just realized that I got 89-93 on the test give or take a few credits. Thanks for clearing up the confusion.

No problem:)

I got 4 for #23. Can someone explain to be how the answer is 1?

I got 4 too…

Since the center is 2 units away from the midpoint, the radius is rad 29, not 5

Why can’t they just ask a regular circle equation like previous exams…
