This weekend I am taking the Math Level 2 Subject Test. I took the two tests in "The Official SAT Subject Tests in Mathematics Levels 1&2 Study Guide" and got a raw score of 45.25 on the first and 42.75 on the second. The cutoff scores for 800 were at least 44 on the first and at least 43 on the second, so I got 800s on both. I am aiming for an 800 on the real test, and I am just wondering how these tests compare to the actual one. Am I too borderline to be sure I'll get an 800? Or are these tests pretty consistent?

You have to realize that those two practice tests only provide a selected range of topics - they do not include all of the possible questions that may come up on the actual test. Either way, you achieved some excellent practice scores - just concentrate and do your best on the actual exam.

I get 3 wrong (0 omit) on the Math II test in the book for all the subject tests, I also found it very easy. However, I ended up with a 780 (missing 6-7 or so I guess?) on the May test. It could vary quite a bit.

Good luck!
