June 5 SAT expectations/hopes?

I was hoping for ~2400, but I was really unhappy with my essay, and that was the first thing I did, so I was pretty distracted from the rest of the test. Have no clue what I’ll end up with. Hopefully ~800 for maths and CR, but no idea whatsoever for writing. It’s my first time though and I’ve got other (much more important) exams at the moment, so it’s not too serious if I don’t end up with a fantastic mark.

Right now I think I’m around

750-800 Writing
720-740 CR
670ish Math (I suck at Math)

I’d love a 2200, but here’s hoping.

i’m nervous. i am hoping for, minimum
650 math
600 critical reading
650 writing
essay 9+, if i get at least a 10 =D

crosses fingers 2380… 2380…

What did you mess up on fledgling? I’m hoping for a 2380 too lol (780 in CR if I’m lucky).

^ All my mistakes were in CR (-3), though somehow a little part of me is still doubting that the general consensus was correct for one particular question. But I decided to squash it for now and just assume everybody was right :p

Which question? I’m personally questioning College Confidential’s answer to the “father talks about modern day” answer.

^ Oh, that wasn’t the one. I’m still wondering whether for the “Films” passage, if “Passage 1 explains a problem that Passage 2 sees as of little concern” is really the right answer. Because I put that at first, but then went back and took a closer look at the passage and there was something there that told me directly that the author of Passage 2 DIDN’T see it as “of little concern”. I can’t remember it though. Oh well. Just going with the general consensus for now…

EDIT: Just FYI, I also agree with the “great uncle talks about modern day” answer. I saw that it had said that he asked the girl Kate about “life in London” whereas her great aunt preferred to brood gloomily over the old life. But then again, who knows? I may have misread something and you may have been right.

Ha! I doubt I was right. I ended up putting Count is sympathetic to her…which I don’t think the passage supports. And for the films question I’m almost 99% sure its the little concern answer because it essentially dismissed the argument in Passage #1 as repetitive.

Anyways good luck. (Wouldn’t a 780 suck in a way? I mean had we omitted one of the questions we got wrong we would have had a 2400, if we indeed end up with 780-800-800).

Yes, it would  But ah whatever, a 2380’s a fantastic score and I’d be proud of it :D

What would a -6 math and a -6 writing (12 essay) be more or less for the int’l June SAT??
