Dec. 1 SAT Predictions/Hopes

So, in retrospect, how do you think you did? What are you hoping for?

I think:
CR: -2 to -5 (but being safe in the lower range)
M: -1
W: Uhh, I think I did well. -0 to -2?

Hoping for:
CR: 770+
M: 800? Pretty please? I suppose 780+.
W: 770+
I just want 2300+.

May SAT scores:
CR: 730
M: 770
W: 750

CR: -2
M: -0 unless they throw out that decimal place one (I'm in Multivar Calc and I couldn't do it under the constraint...maybe its just because I fail at elementary math, lol)
W: -1

haha, i wanna do curve analysis for people. if anyone wants their raw score converted, holla.

I'll be conservative with my estimates.

Critical Reading: -1 or 2 with 2 omits
Math: -4, 0 omits
Writing: -3, 0 omits

I could have done better than those estimates, but it doesn't matter. I really want over 700 on each section. I've heard math has a harsh curve, and while I know my math I am prone to stupid mistakes it seems on standardized tests. We'll see. Really, I was hoping to get an equivalent SAT score to my ACT score. I feel I may come close, but I'm not quite sure due to math.

Chone, what do you think
CR: -4
M: -1
W: -2, 10 essay
would be?

well considering i dont know the difficulty of this test firsthand, i am going to assume based on stuff here that:

cr was medium leaning easy
writing was sorta tricky
math was pretty easy

henceforth:
750 reading
780 math
760 writing

well, out of the tests i have taken (june, oct, dec) i would say that this math section was the hardest. cr was average. writing was pretty easy.

best case scenario, i think i had...

minus 3 cr?
minus 4 math?
and i have no idea about writing. i think there were four i wasnt sure of. so maybe minus 2?

im going to compile the answers so that i can tell what i missed.

going with a conservative estimate

2/3 wrong on CR
1/2 wrong W
1 wrong M

that makes a 2300ish i believe

"cr was medium leaning easy
writing was sorta tricky
math was pretty easy"

I thought CR was hard, not easy at all...

CR -6 (or more...)
M -0
W -1 (or 2) and my essay was meh

think i will get 2100. Wanted 2250 but i did not do so well.

geez, CC people are so smart (in a good way!) :)

math was the hardest for me.

let's see for me: last time,
680 M, 600 CR, 720 W. This time: 700 M (-3), 650 CR (-8 or so), 800 W (-0, 11 essay). I'm confident that i predicted correctly. Probably an 11 essay because it was much better than my BS essay that got a 10.

-8 is probably a lot higher than 650. i took it in june and missed 10, and got 680. in october, i missed seven and got 720.

What would this amount to be?

CR: -8~
M: -1
W: 10 essay, 1 omitt (on accident ><), -3 to 5

math, 780.
cr, 700ish.
writing, 730ish.

thanks, i just wanted to get just above 2200, but im still gonna retake in January (i heard the curve was the best that month).

the tests are all the same difficulty.

@andrea:

Yes, I think that they base the scores partially off the rest.

dang, so many nerds. one guy from my school, a sophomore, is taking it. i think in 7th or 8th grade he got a 1950 and he's in college mathematics right now. there's too many smart people in the world

Math probably missed 3...hopefully that doesn't drop me too far...I'd be happy with a 700 since I barely had any time to study for this SAT..
CR probably missed 3-5...
Writing probably around a 720...I'm pretty sure I aced the MC, but I only had time for 2 examples and half a conclusion.. =/
