Oh yeahh! Thx statlanta, I remember doing that one now! Hmm…I just cant remember the water percent one at all…seems pretty easy, hope I got it! Smh really drawing blank though LoL

I put 20g for that one, statlanta, but something WANTED me to put down the same number… (maybe cuz it would eventually reach the same spot cuz it has to hit a certain temp anyway).

was the answer to the second temperature one 100K, thje question after 88k

Yeah they were gonna cool it from 150 Celsius. I picked the answer choice that had the highest range, same one as you I think. It was in the 120s so yeah

what was the answer to teh question where it said like when a chemical or something is first observed, what temperature was it? some answers were like 69 or 72 (i think it said the range that chemical was in was 69-72, but both were answer choices… so I said 69?

@Theundertaken got the same thing :)

wouldn’t it be 72? because if you start at 150 degrees celsius and go down, you’d hit 72 before 69, meaning liquid would first occur at 72 degrees

@canesfan94 i think that was a different question. it would have been the answer with the chemical having the melting point of 123-125 degrees. this was a different question, but i definitely know it was 69 after checking with some friends and some users here

Wait, the question about how much H20 was in the solution INITIALLY was 12%? That seems wrong…

^That’s what I thought too but wtv lol. Let’s just hope for a real nice curve

What did you guys get for the estruary question in the fish section?

I think I picked somewhat salty water at the bottom of the estruary… pretty sure it’s wrong though!

Yeah I put somewhat salty since they said it was mixed and they also said they placed the cage at the bottom of the estuary.

Good job.

I thought the science was extremely hard today. The 7 question passage completely owned me. I think by that point I was just so darn exhausted, I could barely even function let alone try to interpret all those variables. Oh well. Hopefully my random guessing was spot on…

Does anyone remember the options for the bottom one? Was it mostly salty water and mostly fresh water? Because if so, I remember not choosing the salty one because I figured the estuary would be more fresh water. I’m not sure though.

it said in the introduction that it had some salt water and some fresh water, so that was the answer

Yeah, the first 3 or 4 lines of the passage mentioned fresh water mixed with ocean water or something along those lines.

for the how many times is something r was it 88K? the other answers were 2K 8K and 176K

did anyone else find this significantly more difficult than other act science sections?

@Fanatic16 - Yeah, it was 88.

I did, andrewcubs1! Hahaha, it made me feel awful about the whole ACT when it was all said and done. But then I remembered that I was pretty confident about the rest of it, so hopefully a few amazing scores will over compensate.
