Did anyone else think that science section was EXTREMELY TOUGH? I've been practicing all summer and I don't think that section was realistic to any of the practice I've done. Was I the only one who thought that?

ESPECIALLY CONFLICTING VIEWPOINTS!! IT HAD A PASSAGE, AN EXPERIMENT, AND DATA!

Did anyone else notice that all the passages were in order? (Data, experiments, viewpoints)?

I actually thought it was easier than ones I’ve taken in the past. The only one I had problems with was the conflicting viewpoints, because I didn’t have enough time left to really read through the experiments.

The first couple pages were a breeze. I thought I was gonna be fine and all for the rest, but then everything suddenly just became so difficult alskdjfhg

throughout 4/5 of it, I was just like o.O and then -____- because I knew I did bad on it. Seriosuly, that was just cruel, it was nothing like March eariler this year, that one didn’t have several paragraphs to read per question.

The science section, oh gosh, it was hardcore! I personally think the science section is super challenging and I’d love to master it, but I honestly think the time isn’t enough! There is no rush in research!

Unseen, there’s a thread about how ACT doesn’t curve based on how students do because they release scores gradually. So in answer to your question, probably not.

I thought the science was extremely difficult too.

I’ll be honest, I almost cried when I left the room. This is the third time I’ve taken the ACT, and the last 2 passages just wrecked me. Up until there I thought I was doing really well…
pretty sure I didn’t get a single one of the questions from passage 7 right…

Last 2 were definitely hard. First two were easy. I don’t understand the purpose of the science section anyway, when are you ever going to be under time constraint to understand and answer questions about science labs?

The science section for me was the hardest out of all the sections today. The first two parts of the science was really easy, and then it all went downhill from there.
