June SAT Biology E/M Pre/Post Test

Oh I see, thanks!

its a joke…collegebound9528…
i thgouht this test is a hard one, should be a 7 or 8…

Yeah well some were hard but others were doable. I think barrons was easier than this!

can’t remember if i put a right answer or not, and it’s agonizing…

Yeah, i thought most of it was doable and there were a few hard ones. I hope it’s a 5 question curve, at least.

The curve for Bio is usually a raw score of 79/80 for an 800. So you can only miss/omit one.

loldaniel, I don’t think so. It’s usually at least more than 1.

iodine deficienty> thyroid
damp cloth>temperatrue
stick in plant> touch
ATP> both photo and cellular
Oxygen is released only photo
glucose is oxidized > cellular

Okay, maybe not then…these review books have different curves (Sparknotes says -1, Barrons says -7).

For the question with the seeds on the damp cloth in the dark, why is it temperature?

that one i chose a random one…not gravity. not light…not touch…what is left?

wait, there was a damp cloth one? are you guys talking about the one with the three diff plant seed experiments?

I put light, but to be honest I was stuck between that and temperature. The question wasn’t very good. Since it was on a DAMP cloth and in the DARK, I just figured that light would be the better answer, though I can see how you would put temperature…

i thought for the 3 experiments it was gravity, touch, and light

I put gravity. The dish is on its side, and everything was facing down…

Steve, it’s pH.

Oh darn…maybe I misread it.

I put gravity too! Hmm but is that right?

The one with seeds in a petri dish was gravity. If you read the question carefully, it said the petri dishes were standing on their edges and the picture showed all the budding seedlings growing downward. Tricky - you really had to read the introductory part.

^yeah that’s what i thought

I omitted that one =(…

I didn’t know that but I chose gravity loool I guess I was lucky.
