June SAT Biology E/M Pre/Post Test

There was an answer choice stating that the corn oil was used as a control.

did u choose that for the answer?

I think i was running out of time and missed it. I wish i could have gotten this one right since it was an easy question.

Yes, I chose the control answer as the answer.

^me too 10 char

What score do you think a 68 will be equal to this year? I looked at sparknotes but hopefully the curve will be more lenient this year.

I’m really hoping for a nice curve this year… fingers crossed

Yeah, same…do you think there will be a more lenient curve for “M” since I heard it was WAY harder than “E”…?

Oh definitely. Not only are the E tests usually easier, but this year’s E was ridiculously easy compared to this year’s M test.

How much of a curve do you think it will be? I mean do people who get a specific answer right, still benefit from a curve if CB decides to put it on that particular question?

It isn’t curved by questions, it’s curved by raw score. So if you got 4 questions wrong, no matter what 4 questions they were, you’re going to get the same score as everyone else that got 4 wrong. Provided you took the same test.

bigger M curve would be good. for the M people :)

i hope theres a -3 or -4 curve…i feel like i got about 9/10 wrong…

So, what score are you expecting?

talib3 ***…im hoping for -7~-8 curve!thats really what it curves on barrons example…! not -3 or -4!!!

steven…that would be great and this was a hard test so i don’t know…

i would be happy with anything 700 +
depending on how hard this curve is going to be…
how many can you get wrong and skip 2 to get that score

anyone know how much the curve for the M test is usually…?

I believe I got 3-4 wrong on M, but there’s still a tiny chance I got more wrong. Do you think I could get an 800?

I dunno, the M seemed kind of hard for me, but not extremely so. I’m guessing a 4 point curve, plus or minus one…
